Astro Science Club is organised by Aakash Tulsi lab managed by Jeevanbharti Mandal designed to help students experience science theory in practical manner.

Understanding
Astronomy is useful to each individual. Time units have astronomical bases. Standard Time, Daylight Savings Time, the seasons and the calendar are integral aspects of our social culture, some understanding of the celestial sphere and astronomical motions is useful in estimating time and finding directions. Astronomy is inextricably lined to energy topics the sun is the source of fossil fuels, wind and direct solar energy.
Practical Learning
This is indeed a “Space Age” with daily announcements of achievements and discoveries in the space sciences. With the names like Rakesh Sharma, Kalpana Chawla and Sumita Williams amd Moon mission “Chandrayaan 1” and latest “Mangalyaan Mission” India has entered the space age and the hunt for Indian astronauts has begun. The objective of the Planetarium is to motivate the students to pursue space science as a hobby or career.
