Riya Patel, a student of Odissi dance of Dayakorba Sangeet Vidyalaya stood First in the State Level Yuva Mahotsava held at Ahmedabad on 3 Jan, 2020. She will now represent Gujarat at National Level Yuva Mahotsav.
Riya has been learning Odissi from Guru Debasrita Mohanty since the past 8 years. As dedicated and inquisitive student, she has worked hard to ace the dance form. Riya has participated in numerous dance festivals such as the Odisha Parba, Modhera Dance Festival to name a few. She also has to her credit secured prizes at various completions like the Kalkriti competition, Kalamahakumbh competition in consecutive years.
